Something to think about -

I happen to live in a community where we receive a large volume of tourist traffic this time of year. (Monterey, CA) I also happen to live on a one way street. I can't tell you how often I see cars heading down the street- the wrong way. The other day I saw two, and that was just through my first cup of coffee.
Something to think about when you're zipping along in the left lane of a one way. If Mr. (or Ms.) wrong way pulls a right turn from your left, you just qualified for the rental car pole vault competition. All things being equal, the right lane might be where you want to be.

Fortunately, I have yet to see or be involved in an MC accident down here, but there have been plenty of auto scrapes. A couple of weeks ago during superbike weekend at Laguna Seca, Saturday Night was bike night down on cannery row. Very interesting. I witnessed a cop drop his bike not once, but twice! (after the first drop it spilled fuel, which took his tires out for the second drop.) He was a good sport about it. I don't like to see any bike, cop bike or not, on the pavement. And that's all about that (for now)Pardon my non technical ramblings.
